To light, turn control knob clockwise to pilot position and then hold match to end of thermocouple assembly while pushing in control knob.

Hold knob in about 2 minutes and slowly release knob. If the flame goes out turn knob counterclockwise to off position and repeat procedure after waiting 5 minutes.

FIREPLACE DAMPER MUST BE IN FULL
OPEN POSITION BEFORE LIGHTING MAIN BURNER

After the pilot flame is burning, turn control knob to "ON" position. If the main burner does not light within 4 seconds, turn knob counterclockwise to "OFF" position. Wait 5 minutes and repeat procedure from step one.
